Thursday Training – Speed session – Parlaufs @ Appleford Road, RG30 3NX
Paarlauf means “pair running” and is a classic athletics session.
Aim of the session is to use effort and recovery to develop the lactic energy system.
This will be a fun (and competitive) session in which everyone takes a turn to run 200m – 250m at 5k pace while their partner jogs or walks back to the start for their recovery.
Repeat until end of session – 30 mins approx.
