Thursday Training – Speed session – Parlaufs @ Appleford Road
Paarlauf means “pair running” and is a classic athletics session.
Aim of the session is to use effort and recovery to develop the lactic energy system.
This will be a fun (and competitive) session in which everyone takes a turn to run 200m – 250m at 5k pace while their partner jogs or walks back to the start for their recovery. Repeat until end of session.
Despite street lights, we still recommend you run with a torch.
