Thursday Training – Endurance session – Pyramids @ Grafton Road
Purpose of the session is to maintain your 10k/HM pace throughout each interval.
Pyramids
(1 lap is approx 500m)
1 lap (500m) followed by 1 min rest
2 laps (1000m) followed by 2 mins rest
3 laps (1500m) followed by 3 mins rest
2 laps (1000m) followed by 2 mins rest
1 lap (500m) followed by 1 min rest
(1 lap is approx 500m)
1 lap (500m) followed by 1 min rest
2 laps (1000m) followed by 2 mins rest
3 laps (1500m) followed by 3 mins rest
2 laps (1000m) followed by 2 mins rest
1 lap (500m) followed by 1 min rest
Repeat until whistle is blown.
All sessions consist of a warm up, 30 – 35 minutes main session followed by a cool down.
